Goodwill find!

Found this cool looking ring in the local Goodwill store. Inside the band, it's stamped: Mexico ?25 AT (or could be RT). Googling show it could be silver...but it has some wear on the edges and inside the band. Other postings say it could be gold. Any ideas?
