First merc dime. 3rd silver ever and probably only reason I mainly hunt my property which is small 1 1/2 acres but it drops enough every once and awhile to keep me swing over it. Today was one of those days. It started as a 76 pretty solid which was close to a copper penny so I dug then it turned into about an 80-82 so I did think maybe a dime. Found it and saw the protrusion and thought dang it’s a rivet. Cleaned it hoping maybe it be a silver button and saw the back of a mercury dime. I’ll take that hole and all.
