The wife and I went on a four hour hunt this morning to a relatively new park. This is also where I recently found my last class ring as well as a silver earring. We always go intent on finding some gold and silver and dig most signals (until we get too tired of that). As usual, we have a friendly but very competitive competition as to the best find, most clad etc. In the clad department, I barely beat her out by a dollar or less but she found her best amount so far. I was digging foil and pull tabs etc but the can slaw was so bad in this area, I began to skip some of the very low foil signals. Found the usual great sounding cans and only one bottle cap. Hate aluminum wire too but it happens. Dug the aluminum knob of some sort with the green center and N2, no idea what it went to. Then got the 63 T Bird Hot Wheels, As a kid, we had a 61 I believe for a couple of months. The pair of pliers Betty found, she thought that they were not any good anymore but I told her, a little wash, the wire wheel on the grinder and some oil and they would be just find. my last find was the earring and it sure looked good in the plug but it was just expensive junk or bling. So while I beat her at the clad and jewelry, her pair of pliers beat out my 63 T Bird (and it still has all 4 wheels) because we can use them. Anyways, with about five dollars in clad, Betty and I will be splitting a large chocolate Frosty at Wendy's later and that is just fine with me. Thanks for looking
