got my first buffalo today

went to a new site today and got a buffalo nickel and some zincs....sorry no pic as of yet but i couldn't get a date off of it....the strange thing is i got the tone on my cibola and i had the discriminate turned way up on the thing..... so my question is do buffaloes have silver in them?

Congratulations on your first! Unfortunately they contain no silver, hopefully you made sure to rescan your hole, maybe someone dropped a sweet Walking Liberty half dollar with it, and thats why you were getting a high tone on it.
