Got out a few hours this morning :)

I went back to the lot that produced my Seated Half (1858) earlier this year. The construction has taken all but the edges of the large lot. I hunted the edge and found a 1943 D War Nickel. The old private school that I have been hunting provided a couple of bucks in clad, and a damaged silver with turquoise ring that appears to be fairly old.

Easy, there, srdraftcad-- a guy has to start somewhere! Hey, anyone who's found a seated Liberty coin deserves credit!

The problem with modern cities is, well, they are modernized, and without construction the best goodies tend to stay out of reach. Near Pasadena there is a lot of history and wonderful treasure that will probably never see the light of day. San Antonio has a lot of that, too. Keep looking, Rich in Texas!
