Found some clad a presidential token and what looks like a wood block stamp plate with old English letters

I'm not sure what that stamp plate is, but I really like the Sunoco token. Nice find.

I wonder if you can lightly do a rubbing with the side of a lead pencil on a piece of thin paper and see if you can make out the letters ? I like the token you found.

Cool token, did you ever get anything from your scratching on that plate, maybe rub some olive oil on it, might be able to read something in the light off it like that?
