Got several firsts to boot!

My first Gardiner, first sword(maybe dagger) hanger, first early 1800's ring with stones, and even a second, but I want Josh to hang on that one for a little bit hehe. Was a great day though, just wish the weekend didn't look so cruddy. Here's some pictures, and Josh, you'll have to scroll down, something we thought was one thing was another!

That Indian head wasn't no Indian at all! It may or may not be, nah just kidding, it IS my 2nd ever Flying Eagle! And just like my first, the front is corroded to where there's no chance I can get a date. Thanks bud, I think that shovel trade is a done deal!

If anyone can confirm for us that the sword hanger is in fact that, let us know! We'd really appreciate it! Stay safe this weekend!

Nice relics and a Flying Eagle as well ... sounds like a good day to me!

Not a sword hanger but a gag loop for a horse. Many sell them on ebay as a sword hanger! :(

Nice hunt, I would enjoy detecting with the Sentinel and he has some nice sites! I think Crusader is correct with his ID of a gag loop for a horse or also an ox or cow. I have found a few and they were IDed as sword hangars, I'm sure one or two are sword hangars as I found another piece nearby. HH, Mike
