Hey all,
I was actually able to get out today, a good portion of the snow melted which afforded me the opportunity to swing the coil. I can't get to the old home sites yet due to the snow, but the park / totlot was ripe for the taking. I started at the totlot and was not disappointed, it seemed that no one has yet been willing to search it (not even sure if there are those who do in my small town). I had just picked up the Tesoro Vaquero along with a 5.75in concentric for just these occasions, the parks are usually full of trash, so I knew that coil would help; and boy did it. I couldn't believe the separation I was getting on targets, I was actually able to separate targets out by just an inch or so, and in some cases even smaller. The disc. on the Vaquero was pretty amazing.
After the totlot I hit the sledding hill located next to it. That's when the juice began to flow! I covered about 10 feet of the bottom of the hill, there were so many hits, I was beginning to think I was surrounded; and I was! I must say, the best dime and nickel day I have ever had. Nothing old or silver, but a great couple of hours anyway. I'm looking to get back out tomorrow and see what the park wants to give up! I know there's a lot of loot to be had there!
Here is a pic of my take for 2 hours of work!

Thanks for looking!!
