Went to TD to dump $1250 in halfs and dimes. The bag filled, it got changed and I asked for the rejects , which just kept commeing out of the tube. I told the teller that they were not all mine and the machine must have a problem. The amount of rejects filled my one gallon dump bucket that my dimes were in. He said you keep them, and lets check the sensor. He took the machine apart and we removed a whole shredded up pack of of advill gel caps. When we started the count again he said I was at zero, and the machine never counted any of the coin i put in, thats why the tube was full. I said i only dumped dimes and quarters , and when you opended the machine it said the count waas at $475. I looked at the inside screen and saw it. he said he did not notice. I said i do this every week and i no how much i have to start, give or take $10 . So he calls the boss over and shes says dump the rest of your coin and all the rejects and it should come out to $1250. I looked at the buckets of coin and said there was about only $750 there. She said well it is what it is. I said there is a problem and you should look into it , i have had this happen before and it always turns up. Then she printed some kind of receit and the teller and her were talking real low makeing sure i could not here. I then ran all the coin through and the total was $778. They then studied the receipt and said , owe we found it , and gave me a hand written receipt for $578. now I have two receipts for a total of $1356. I then said I started with $1250, the teller said just take it and shut up. I said fine . I took the money and left. On the way out i asked if they wanted bagels or donuts. They said bagels, so i went to the bagel store and dropped of a dozen and they were very happy and said thanks allot , and sorry for the problem. It was a strange dump day. I also got 2 silver dimes.
