image.webp Finally got some gold with a little weight to it (15 grams). One of the studs I stuck in the hole in the end of the knife has small diamond chips around the bottom of the stud that checked out real, to bad the big one is fake:laughing7:.

Got to the beach at 6:00, grabbed my CTX 3030 and discovered I left my battery pack at home charging. :BangHead: I brought my Excalibur 2 as a backup but I don't know it well yet. Water was to high and rough so decided to dry sand it. Spent about an two hours and a half working the dry sand hitting lots of trash and some coins and wasn't feeling it. I was about to call it quits when it sounded off. Thought I was digging more foil when the gold bracelet showed up in my scoop:laughing7:. Nothing like hitting gold to get that "I love detecting feeling":laughing7:. Spent another two hours and got the rest of the goodies.
