Yes definitely French Un Decime I guess that means 10 cents or 1 dime. Early 1800s possibly, and possibly bronze.

Yep, bronze too I would say, as it has some green patina (Just covered in acid free vaseline till I clean it better)

The legend on the bottom coin will read: REPUBLIQUE - FRANÇAISE. The last few letters are legible on your coin. As such, the coin can then be oriented correctly. Here's another site with pic of a similar coin:

This coin may have been minted in either 1796 or 1797. Nice find.
