Looks like a Howitzer and this toy was made in the USA!

Just small fun but I love the Howitzer if you know a date let me know I'am thinking 50s or 60s? HH

I love the cannon! I think it could be a little older, maybe into the 40's. It looks like a spring loaded plunger in the barrel, I wonder if it was a cork shooter? I looked online a bit and found no match does it have ant writing on it anywhere?

EDIT : found one! no real info other than dating it to the 40's

Yep, it has m and made in USA that's all I can see. It did have some jind of pluger.

what did the cannon read up as? and the small round ring looking thing what is it? ive found 8 of them

VDI was 84 on the cannon, I think it's pewter. The ring well it's a brass ring they where used on lots of stuff, knapsacks, oil lamps, suspender all kind of things.
I don't know what this one was for but it's a cool find.
