Went to a spot I hit last month, where I found a boat load of clad and 3 wheats...here was the take from that trip.

Went back today before work and managed to find some more clad and one more wheat. The silver is here somewhere [emoji42]

Either way, you are killing the clad! That is a ton of good targets, was there much trash to go with it?

To be honest the first trip yes, this trip not so much since I was in a hurry, only dug good targets. I just looked in my finds bag and have this thing which is my trash for the day...and I always take all my trash.

And the piece of cardboard In the background but I eyeballed that and brought it home.

I've found plenty of spoons that were silver plated at one time, and a badge I think is silver plated, but yeah....so far the real silver continues to elude me. The worst part is when you keep finding dimes and quarters from 1965 and realize how close you came, lol.

Nice amount of coins! I got a few spots where I literally dug dozens of wheats and not one silver. These spots haunted me until I surrendered, lol. Keep digging you're bound to come up with some shiny.

I had one spot like that with a lot of wheat, all concentrated in one area...looked up on a big old oak limb and saw remnants of a rope swing....all the silver was about 20 meters away.

Yeah, Ive had a few of those wheat fields. But, usually if there are 10+ wheat cents or an IHP or two, the silver will be there. It does take some coaxing, though......
Just keep after it!! (Sage advice I recently got from a fellow TNetter)

Congrats on your cladfest hut. That clad adds up and is great to cover the costs of hobby related accessories and upgrades. I for one like a good clad haul hunt. I need good targets to dig, even though we all hope for older coins, coins are coins and feed the fire.

First off nice haul of coins. I agree with Loco-Digger you can save all the clad and buy something later or if you’re like me you can use it buy coffee and donuts on the way home..
