GPAA claims in AZ

My friend has a river house in Needles AZ, I can't find where it shows where the claims are. I might become a member if I know how many claims are around in Northern CA, I live in Southern CA, and any in Arizona. Also, is it a yearly fee from the date you sign up or on the calendar year. Is it really worth signing up because $85 is alot. Thanks

I was feeling like I couldn't really dig many places and thinking I had to join. I just realized that there are no claims in the national forest and I can go to so many places legally and dig this summer.
