Still on vacation in PA. (no power in CT.) So my pics are from my ipod, sorry. Found this at an old homestead built in the Cival War era. 50th anniversery of thre Grand Lodge of Nebraska. Beautiful medal with awesome patina. I think this is a thing of beauty! Any idea of value? Thanks guys....Rich.

Sorry no idea..But what a cool find

Masonic I think. I don't think it's Free Masons though. Another branch maybe.

Not sure whta the first A is but the rest is for Free Accepted Masons

You may find this interesting since it came from Tasmania.
"Freemasonry finds great favour in the United States of America, where every State and territory has a grand Lodge of its own. The Grand Lodge of Nebraska, the headquarters of which are at Omaha City, recently held a special communication to celebrate the jubilee of its foundation..."
A printed copy of the proceedings and a jewel struck to commemorate the event have been sent to the secretary of every Grand Lodge with which the Grand Lodge of Nebraska has fraternal relations. The jewel bears on the obverse a Masonic design, and the inscription, 'Grand Lodge of Nebraska, constituted September 23, A.D., 1857;' and, on the reverse side, 'Commemorating 50th anniversary of the Grand Lodge, A.F. and A.M. of Nebraska, Omaha, September 23, 1907.'"
