LOL we never realize how lucky we are that there are people who love us and keep their left hand ready to bail us out til we are experienced enough to take a task on! ;) Very cool pics!

We were at Iron Gate Reservoir in far northern California just a few miles out of Hornbrook, just off Interstate 5. It's a Klamath River lake. Lake has trout, bass, bluegil, sunfish, catfish/bullhead and one of a few California lakes that has yellow perch. It probably has crappie also but we didn't catch any of those. Stayed there 4 days/3 nights and it doesn't cost a dime.

We need more lakes like that in Calif. I haven't fished for yellow perch since I left Idaho in the 70's. Hopefully next week when I'm there for a reunion I'll get some fishing in.

Grandson looks like he's having a blast

Very cool shot, reminds me of Allen Jacksons song called Drive.
