gray harbor wa, fossil crabs

hello, in august i will be flying out to Seattle from pa. i will be staying at fort lewis for a week. my question is i want to go to fray harbor while i am there. its about 1.20 min drive. where would be the best place to look for the fossil crabs out there. i never flown or traveled this far be for. lol i told my mom i would bring her back something cool. thank you for any in put
