Well, I had 5 minutes so I stopped at a bank while my mom and brother were at the store. I didnt expect anything since I had been there before. But, they had $490 in halves!

They would only let me buy $400 so I did!

1 40%er, 1 1976 S clad proof (PF67), 3 franklins! 1 was sticking out of the edge of a role. Dates on franklins are 1951, 1963, an 1963. I only wish I could have bought the other $90.

HH!

Go back and trade them $90 dollars worth of the clad halves for the other $90 dollars that were left behind.

I cant drive yet so thats a minor problem.

Thanks for looking though!

That's what I would do!

THANKS!

I graded it myself. Proof 67 is a very high level proof condition. Barely any scratches visible or under the loup magnification at all.

My mom takes me to every bank I go to. But, this one is far and yesterday was really busy.

I have faith that the halves will still be there next time!

Cool, cool finds. On your PF67, remember that the grading services use something like a 400 power microscope to inspect for blemishes that wouldn't show on your loupe. Takes a lot to get that grade. Hope you're right.

Thanks.

Either way. The coin is worth $2-4 at most! In PF70 its $4. Im not planning on selling it. Just a basis grade.
