So I saw a park way in the back of our town and hit it up today. I'm glad cause it was great.

Got this defense metal.







Also got a wheat penny a couple old Canadian penny's , a tootsie toy wedge dragster w/no wheels. And a pocket knife. Oh and a handful of newer penny's

Now that is the first of those I've ever seen dug on here !!! Amazing find what part of the country did you find that in ?
Are there a bunch of letters and numbers on the edge of the medal ? If so you may be able to get the regiment , and the
service no. and possibly a name to go with the medal (there may be enough info there to get it back to a relative of the
serviceman) Incredible find man !

(It's my understanding that all who served during WWI and WWII for the British Commonwealth , received
these large service medals )

I'm I'm north western Ontario just on the border of Minnesota. No markings other than the face and back. The edge is smooth

So no real chance of identifying who's it was.
And I still cant quit smiling
I'm gonna check again there tomorrow.
