Great Box of Nickels!

I haven't crh in about a year and a half due to school but decided to pick up a box of nickels today at the bank and hit a homerun:
7 buffaloes
2 1939s
21 1940s
24 1950s


Looking forward to getting back into it now this winter!

You didn't mention if you found any war nickels. You know the ones with the big mint
mark on the back. The 1942 thru 1945's. They are 35% silver.

Yeah, I didn't get any war nickels! I would have thought to get at least one with all those buffaloes. Have you opened any nickel boxes recently?

Incredible box. I've never found more than one buffalo in a box, let alone seven! Someone must have dropped off grandpa's collection.
