Went back over to the site that gave up that nice large cent yesterday. Today the weather was great. Found a really neat button. Has a horse jumping over a fence and the rider has a wip in his hand. No backmarks. Also a nice 1881 indian, a piece of jewelry with a torquoise (may not be real) in it, a nice gilt button, old spoon and a neat little nickel plated oiler patened 1895 and 1897. Thanks for looking...Lance

Cool finds Lance, I like the little oil can, was it for firearms?

Thanks Tsgman, I have no idea what it was for, but since it was turn of the century, could have been for most any engine also. Thanks...Lance

Nice stuff Lance. I like your post. You always have some old colonial stuff to post. I find my share of early stuff. But your area must be flooded with early 1800's houses and land.

Good Luck this year
