Check out some of the coins on this website:

http://www.newworldtreasures.com/cobs_mexico.htm

Not exactly the same but pretty close. I understand that this coin was heavily counterfeited so it my not be real. I hope this helps.

WELL DONE

Never had one of those. Had several foriegns this year, but always susprises me how they may have got here.

Is this the range site?

same here no its a beach/cliff site

On cleaning it, my suggestion would first be to keep it 'as is'. However if you want to give it a delicate clean, then stick it in Lemon juice for a fews minutes & rub off the tarnish. Keep repeating as required.

thanks for that i still don't know if i should clean it

If you not sure, best leave it. You can always clean it in 5 or 10 years time. What you can't do is undo any cleaning.

Go get some Roman wilver now! :)
