Just got back from the field. Another Vittorio Emanuele III 5c 1930 and 10c 1924. Plus 4 that are Byzantine and/or medieval. And bell and medallion

The 3 oldest plus the bell were all around this tree

Nice recoveries.
How old would the tree be, approximately?
Just looks so cool.

So the small round coin bottom left is a 1 centesimo 1867.

The square one is probably 1600s but I'm not sure. Anyone recognize it?

I think it's a 1 grano Filippo II

So that's an olive grove? Looks really attractive and a nice place to MD.

I've identified this as a 1 grano Filippo IV 1647. you can see the 4 and a 7 to the right. Messina mint

Crazy thing about this coin. The reverse is 90/270 degrees offset. No matter which way you flip it vertically or horizontally the reverse is on its side.

Neat finds under that gnarly old tree, congrats!
I wonder what else is hiding under there...
