Just a few 3 ringers but where they were found makes them historic. I'm amazed you can get anywhere near Gettysburg with a metal detector. Gary

Hell yeah!! I live 10 mins. away from GBurg and you'd be surprised the area those guy's were in. I live on one of the main retreat routes from that battle and they were skirmishing the whole way back into Va. Great saves

Great finds....what history. In your top right photo, far right, is a circular metal ring, appears to have grooves in it? I found something very similar and it appears that it came from a parasol? Just curious as to whether you consider that to be accurate?

How do you get permission in Gettysburg with a metal detector. I was told if they caught you . They would almost cut your balls off.
