Great hunt, 18K with Ice...

Hit another spot yesterday. The day started out pretty good and I ended the day with a really great hunt. The first few targets were the dollar coins...what the...

Then I found the silver dime (1947). Needless to say the targets keep coming. Plenty of clad, plus pull tabs and tent stakes followed. The area that I hunted was pretty clean so

I hunted wide open on the CTX. It was hot and I was getting tired, just about out of water... one more target... probably a pull tab, but not this time... Bamm!!! WAS I SURPRISED..

A ring?? OK.. started to look at it... take out the loupe....lets take a peek... 18K with some ice.. OMG!!! YES!! what a find... . So that find gave me a little needed boost to

continue hunting. I re-hydrated and went back out for a few more hours. Later in the day I found the 1/2 dollar,(1st JFK for me), the bling pony..sparkly little thing and sterling square.

(stamped inside). Almost forgot, total clad... just over $15 bucks. What a day... WoW..
