Went back to folsom Ca lake yesterday to explorer the dry lakebed. Great looking bucket line dredge piles exposed by the drought. Historical area, no detecting for gold.
These have been covered for 60 years. Big fine if caught digging.

Hey Info, what entrance did you use to find these exposed tailings ?

Sent from my iPad using TreasureNet

now that would drive me crazy!!

One Word…. Camouflage !

I was at Beales point this Monday......People everywhere, and guess what every 6th person had a detector, and there was a ranger driving his rig all over the shore and he did not stop a single person who was detecting. Even though some of the people were not filling their holes. We were definitely on state park property. So why didn't he harass anyone?????? I will definitely be going back with a detector.

I realize it is supposed to be cause of the fact its a historical area, Yet where we were had evidence of the old Townsite? I watched to see if the ranger was gonna do anything and he just kept driving around.

He was probably "code 7" lol

The lake looks so sad lately...

I don't see why they can use the historical area defense, if it was so historical, why the hell did they decide to put a lake on top of it lol... In any case, I got mixed messages from the park ranger at the entrance, and seems to be more of a "How that particular Ranger feels at the time" kinda thing... Ahhhh blissful ambiguity of the law strikes again
