Yeah, I saw that on my local news here in SoCal yesterday. My question is where was the news crew last week when I retrieved a Plat ring in chest high water for someone?
As a detectorist, it really does feel good to help folks that think all is lost. The smile you get is really worth the effort. Glad to see some of us are getting some accolades publically.
It sure does help our reputation. Not just some crazy old guy on the beach.
