Actually, if I had counted the missing "wheel"....it would be 3 pieces.

Aaah. Yes, same but a later model than the one also recently posted. Collar disc for a detached enlisted soldier. Perhaps WWII or a bit after. Neat find. Some of my best finds have been from under old clotheslines.

Biggest collar disc I've ever seen. I thought maybe it was from a hat or something. Collar discs are usually about 3/4 inch in diameter....right?

Yes, a hat device rather than a collar disc... I had the earlier post fresh on my mind when I thought of that. Given that, it could be be much more recent (VietNam or after). None the less, nice find. -Ben
