Hello all,,, I was hoping someone could give me some info on this bottle.
What it was used for? approx. date? also, is it before 1900 that the seems go all the way to the top, or after? The seems go all the way to the top of this one.It measures: 10-1/2" x 2-7/8" x 2-7/8"

It has an inscription just below the neck that reads,[br]FEDERAL LAW[br]FORBIDS SALE[br]OR RE-USE OF[br]THIS BOTTLE

Around the edge on the bottom it's inscribed with,
J.R.("H", or "R")IEVES & CIA.SUCRS S.EN.C

In the center of the bottom is,
65 (what looks like a monkey face?) 44
ARROYO
P.R.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you...

Wow!!! that was quick gypsy...
Thanks a bunch,, that should give me a good start on what else to look for. It looks as though that label would fit right on it...

FEDERAL LAW
FORBIDS SALE
OR RE-USE OF
THIS BOTTLE

I believe this statement on bottles was started after prohibition in 1933!

Federal Law Forbids was on bottles from 1935 to 1964.

Thanks for the added info guys,,,
I really do appreciate it...
Good luck, & Happy hunting~
