Hi everyone, found this awesome site a while back and was recommended to join by a fellow metal detectorist where im from on Long Island, New York . Wish i joined a lot sooner than i did but i guess better late than never. I have learned lots of generous info provided by members posts using the search engine here on the forum. I started metal detecting last February with a bounty hunter time ranger and found tons of nice stuff with it including a complete crotal bell, a few modern silver coins and musket balls. Recently this Feb i upgraded to a Fisher F75 ltd, while getting used to the new machine i found another crotal bell and few nice flat buttons. Also, my oldest legible coin to date a 1780 half real. I like glass and have always been into finding points/artifacts in farms and along local beaches and have even found a few colonial pipe stems on the surface doing so. I hope to continue to learn from and share what i have and others have found. Thanks guys and gals nice to finally meet all of you!
