I'm a morning person preferring to do all my labor early. I find, in most case it's a lot easier to dig with a little dew on the ground. However, this time of year and once the sun begins moving up I like heading for the trees!

I always try to find shady spots to keep out of the sun....
Not always the best for diggin' though....
