GTI 1500

I snagged a slightly used GTI 1500 today for $325...
I think i did ok.


I sure hope this is the step up I have been looking for otherwise who knows whats next.
it's a little heavy compared to my silver Umax but I hope it will payoff with target ID, Depth, and more sophisticated discrimination.....oh and lets not forget imaging....Cool.

The 1500 is one of the best coinshooters available. The imaging can keep you from digging trash. My suggestion would be to put it in jewelry mode and dig anything that beeps and is a size A,B, or C, that way, you don't miss any rings.

After you put in the time to learn the Imaging and it's limitations, you will be leaving most of your junk behind. It is probably the best coin shooter out there. I think Garrett's Imaging and Profiling are a few of any new technologies out there in the last several years, and they are patented. Only Garrett has them. Congratulations on getting a fine machine.

Yea, got a great deal I thought.

I went in to try out a Tesoro Cortez and walked out with the 1500.
It seems easier to understand off the bat and with that price, I had to have it.
