I have been looking at them on ebay, and thinking of getting one. do you feel it makes a big difference getting in the waterwith one. I don't plan on going much past my waist, but you know how that goes, I was just curious or any others that use them. I don't want to break the bank on one so I have been checking ebay....

It makes a big difference. I use one when I am hunting and it is the difference between being comfortable and being miserable when your in the water hunting in the cool months. I have used it both on the east and west coast.

I got mine off of EBay, "slightly used" an Oceanic 3 mil, farmer john, long sleeve for $35, when it arrived I could not tell it had ever been worn.

HEy bill it makes a huge difference ,,specially this time a year go to your local dive shop you can get one used really cheap there or check out good will as well ,, hh guzz1

Definitely. Because nobody likes to be uncomfortable when you're trying to enjoy yourself.

I was just given a full 3mil suit for free... gently used, but in fantastic shape! That said, and wanting to get out in the water within the next 4 to 6 weeks, could someone suggest a good booty? I've seen their prices, and they're a bit high even when i can find them used.

Any thoughts?

I use the Chota flats boots the soft sided ones for non stingray season and the kelvar ones for when they are in

Fresh water in Ohio, I'm only worried about keeping warm. But for trips to Puerto Rico, there are several rays swimming around the piers. So I thank you for the suggestion to protect my feet against them.

hey ohio,you dive in rico?

Got ours at West marine too. Clearance sale $35.00

They make a great differnce especially when the waters cool or cold. When its warm, it protect you from jellyfish and anything else you dont want rubbing against you.

Tough part as anyone will atest to is when you gotta go, hence the term wet suit" so I've been told. :D :D

Gold digger, aren't your the one I got my Beach Brute scoop from?

makes a huge difference and hypothermia can make your day a killer quickly
