I haven't been on Tnet for some time, too busy treasure hunting I guess but I had such a great day yeasterday I wanted to share it.
Treblehunter and I were invited down to a site not too far from Gettysburg, PA by Smokeythecat to hunt a civil war union outpost. This site had been hunted a little but was still fairly untouched. We did well! I found a bucket lister, a 1834 capped bust dime! Also found were a eagle general services button and a livery button (an arm holding a spear), a couple of minnie balls, union knapsack hook, 2 barber half dollars and a barber dime. Treblehunter found a breastplate, 7 silvers (one seated) and a bunch of minnie's + other civil war stuff.
It was an amazing day for us so a huge THANK YOU to Smokeythecat!!!
