I was spent early.

But WHADIFIND being The Youngun he is was still going strong.
So after sitting & watching him for awhile I bid him Good Luck
& Headed for water and home.

I look forward to seeing his Many finds Tonight or Tomorrow Depending on
how long he Hunts & How long it takes for him to get all the way down across that

nice old park it looks like.gotta be some nice older silver there

Thank you for sharing that fun dig and those pictures

That park looks to have plenty of potential for both old and new finds !! Thanks for sharing Jeff =)

If Memory Serves : 2 oldest U.S. coins I have found in this park over the Years
a Trashed 1790's Half Cent, and a trashed Flying Eagle Cent
Oldest silver, 1876 Dime

been awhile though, place is hammered , needs patience and new hunting blood .
I keep getting Drawn to those Old Productive Hammered spots here

I like the looks of that park also, thanks for the pix.

sometimes some one new looks at everything differently and manages to find something, those that still are young or are still in good shape will eventually take our places but in the meantime... we do what we can, when we can. you still found quite a bit and like always, great pics. so, there is the next hunt to look forward to. Jerry

yes I've been Hammering this park since the early 70's It just keeps Growing &
is still wall to wall targets.

listed on tax site as 31.6 Acres

Hard to believe that place is still giving up a few goodies. I remember going through some spots and not even getting a signal. Nice job

Kudos to the both of you for having the tenacity for a 90 degree hunt.

Gotta love a site that keeps producing like that. very cool to you meeting up with a member here, says a lot for the hobby.

That place look huge on the areal maps , I'm sure there's got to be goodies hiding - It will be so much easier to hunt when you get
temps down in the 60's or 70's ! That is definitely a cool looking old park - I'm glad your healed up enough to get out !

It's always good to see your posts and pic's Jeff :icon_thumright: I spent all day last Wednesday (7 hrs) hunting an old park for some clad & a 1934 wheatie... beats sitting home and growing older by the minute! Thanks again for sharing

Now THERE is a term I've not heard applied to me for a VERY,VERY, VERY long time! LAUGHING OUT LOUD!
Now. I admit, I used to run marathons in the last millennium, and am still reaping some benefits from that. But,
"young" is insulted if it ever finds out it was used in referring to me! LOL

Yeah, I stayed, another hour and a half. Then, I needed water, rest, etc. Trouble was, mine was over a hundred miles down the road! :)

Anyway, my post is up and yes, that park has been POUNDED!! LOL

Lovely time Jeff! Thanks!
