Had my first return today along with more silver (War Nic) and bling from the lake

I was walking down to the pier when a nice looking lady in a bikini asked me if I could find her earring she lost the other day. I asked her where in the water she thought she lost it and what it was made of, silver or gold? She pointed to an area under the pier where she had been sunbathing that day and said she didn't know what it was made of. Half hour later I had a scratchy 50ish hit that came up her earring, here is the pic of it with a pull tab next to it for scale.

lotsa stuff there !!!! finding something so tiny = wow !!! ( I'll never have a days haul like that hunting the woods and yards.) You beach guys got it made, plus all the scenery. Somehow I just can't picture a bikini clad woman walking up to me at some tick and snake infested cellar hole and asking me to help her find something....doh !!!

rewarding actually giving him it back!

awesome on the return, all I asked for on mine was a smile, a pic and a hug. of course I didn't have to ask for any of them but the excited lady nervously asked if I wanted anything so I told her and the smile got even bigger! Congrats on finding it and on the return...guess the bikini helped you to look a little harder too! would me! LOL it is a wonderful feeling, the return.

Yeah I'm really liking it myself, I was in water up to my chin when I found that War Nickel (I thought I was chasing gold). I have learned to look sometimes at my VDI to see what I'm digging now. I started the day in a yard hunt permission at about 6:30 am to beat the heat. I was totally drenched in sweat an hour and a half later. At 1:30 pm I was immersed in the cool cool water of my lake.

Yeah, I'm a single man again, I wouldn't be surprised if she isn't married, she might have left her wedding ring in the car after losing jewelry on the pier? She was the one who offered lunch, they sell food there, so it's just like when I find an old coin that is beautiful, my wishful thinking takes over hoping it's worth thousands. lol
