so up and at em.. hit the park this morn and a few targets ( canslaw, clad ) one old wood handle knife.. just was not getting the vibe.... so i load up and decided to try my luck at a old site in the woods, few mason jar lids and a load of end stamps.. another insulator and a neat brass tear drop ring of some sort.. well the vibe was still not right, so i rush to the car to try and get short hit at the old 1800s tavern site before work. 2nd target in bam 1908o semi key date barber dime.. ( were was it yesterday to make my trifecta ) and right after that a 1936 Wheat, and two feet from the wheat a 1899 full liberty IH.. and i thought i worked this site well ::) plus another small wood handle knife, large coat button, old cilco meter seal ;D and a key. will have to go back and work that site over.. till next time best of digs to all... MR TUFF

the ground is good to them around here.. just hit it with a toothbrush..

That injun' is incredible :icon_thumleft: What a sweet dig :headbang:

That Injun looks like its in non-dug condition. I've never seen a Injun that looked that good out of the ground.

Awesome the soil's that kind to the coins there :icon_thumleft:

That Injun is smokin good. Nice. jgas

The IH is in incredible condition! WTG!! :icon_thumright: I found a WW1 coat button just like that the day before yesterday as well. I dont know my buttons very well and was excited thinkin it might be civil war! Looked it up and, lesson learned! Still a cool find though!!!! :icon_profileleft:

Most places' soils attack an injun like a frontier person would have......but your soil must have some preservatives in it. That
is one great-looking I.H. I don't find I.H.s here in S. Korea, but if I did, most of them would be toast.......almost any copper coin that I find - especially if it is in the ground, and not in a rocks/ground mixture - becomes illegible after I wash the dirt off.
Good finds.

Great hunt :icon_thumleft: that 1899 IH is awesome HH DD60

WAY TO GO
