Had to take a "seated" between the rains
Well after a very dry spring we finally got some rains here in the far north
Got a few minutes of clear weather so I grabbed up the explorer and ran out to the park. after about 2 minutes I got a sweet tone that made the ol heart skip a beat and after a short dig I was rewarded with a nice 1890 seated dime. shortly after that find the sky's opened up and let the lead sheet rain fall. I hated to quit but know that the badly needed moisture not only will help on preventing forest fires here but help me make some deeper finds so I guess I'll smile and thank the detecting gods for that precious few minutes. I wish luck to all you and hope your making finds of a lifetime!
