Half a blank

[Silver Stripe]

Am new to coins- know silver, copper, clad... but as far as errors nothing. As the pics show this is a half stamped platchet? I've had it a long while so don't know where it came from. Also as you can see the date didn't make it but I weighed it and its a copper cent so pre 82. Anybody have any thoughts on this coin- what it could be worth. What to call it if I wanted to list it on ebay. Any help appreciated. Mark

Thats a great error, quite a bit of an off center strike. You might get 5 bucks for it, but I'd keep it if it were me. More interesting as a conversation piece!

Yea I don't know how I got it- its a 1/16th of an inch bigger sideways than a regular cent. I just wish the date was on it- I know I've had it at least 20 years but it weighs like a copper cent so is at least 25 years old. Anybody just gotta have one? Let me know haha. Mark
