Got another 13 Wheaties on the second bank trip.

The dates of some dateless Buffalo Nickels can be identified by other design features (particularly 1913 type 1, 1920, 1921 and 1924 are all distinctive.) Barring that, you can use Nic-a-Date to recover the date, or soak the coin in a mixture of vinegar and salt.

Its probably not something im going to bother with, for this coin. Although it might be good for a test run. I didn't realize at first but the reverse is extremely damaged and looks like someone dropped lead slag on it.

I will almost certainly be testing the vinegar on that beat up buffalo, because I just found 3 more. Got another box of nickels and pennies this morning and found 2 with the date unreadable, and a beautiful full date 1935 double P. Plus I got a ton of pre 60s and a 1943 war nickel( my first sine I start crh). I haven't gone through the pennies yet but im excited.
