half dollar score

went to my bank today and asked for half dollar rolls. teller said they did not have any rolls, but she had 12 in the coin tray. i said i was looking for 1970 and older halves. she went through the coins and i ended up with 2 dated 1968 and 1 dated 1964. needless to say i am happy. h.h.

Do yourself and others a favor and just buy all 12 half dollars - its only $6. Don't sit there and pick out specific halves. Next time you go there, that teller will already know which halves to look for and will keep them for him/herself.
