Half of a day in a cold bean field... Got silver, just not what I was after.

Hunted today with Scott and we hit a bean field for a few hours. I really wanted to find silver, guess my wish should have been more specific. The first target I dug was a tiny piece of jewelry with some kind of well worn stone... It is silver, that was the last silver for the day. I also dug what appears to be a brass trigger guard, would love to know what it came off of.
