Hamilton Mint Silver Plate

If it is the plate I am thinking of it should be 11.25 ounces. It should be worth about $180 melt value

I paid 3.69 for it.

I thought for sure you were talking about "silverplate". It is a .999 silver, plate.

Why no picture :icon_scratch:

I will post of pic tomorrow. I weighed the plate, 380 grams or 12.2173 troy ounces! Over a troy pound!

So now I have a dilemma, just sell it at the gold and silver exchange with zero risk, or sell it on ebay.

Any sold prices on eBay? Scrapping will bring you less I'm sure. Now if it's all banged up and scratched...less money.

Why not just hold onto it. Buying it for less than 4 bucks you really have almost nothing invested.

Here is a pic(be it a bad one though, taken inside under fake light!) plate 1.webpplate 1.webp

That looks more like Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter.

Polish that puppy, and put it up on Ebay for melt plus 25%. 1 week auction. If it sells, cool. If not, then dump it on a melter.

Besides, It's Nixon, he deserves to be melted.

I does look like the Carters, but I guess it is Nixon. You'll make $$ either way.
