Handmade Copper/lead cup

I found this in Lake Huron about a mile off shore not associated with anything except a pile of cobblestone....maybe ballast

Wow, VERY cool old cup kinda looks like a mid 1800's tin cup but could be much older. Must be some other cool goodies nearby.

Thanks Steve....Yeah I did find several things.....not sure there associated with one another.....here are a couple of pics........the whiskey jug and bottle not the crock......it was found in the river nearby.....

Wow nice cup, were you diving a mile off shore? Hows visibility?
 
Thanks all....Yep I was diving.....as I remember visability was great about 60 feet I believe, we often dive the area the area, but most often try to dive 30 feet or less to give us more bottom time......

That cup looks like it may have been tin or nickel plated at one time. Nice finds anyway.........NGE
 
The silvery appearance is lead solder, or at least I think thats what it is....
