Definitely an important day. Remembering all those that serve now, served in the past, and have made such sacrifices for our freedom is one of the most important things for those of us in this country to do. While grilling and department store sales may be fun, don't let those types of things become a distraction.

Also, keep in mind that all of us, regardless of service in the armed forces, need to continue to be vigilant and do our part to protect our freedoms in this country by participating in government and other activities to ensure that all they fight for isn't squandered.

Wishing you all a great and reflective Memorial Day. Below us the American Cemetery in Normandy, France.

Coleville-sur-Mer, Normandy, France. Visited in 2004. Awesome place. Wanted to road trip to the Belleau Wood Memorial... gonna have to save it for the next France road trip.

Got 500 in dimes to go through today, but feeling lazy after replacing several sections of fence yesterday... HH...! ega.webp

Many thanks to those who have, do and will serve. LP
