Well, another year shot to h*ll. Managed to squeeze in some campin, but not near enough. Best trip was down to Round Hill near Poncha. Did alright in detectin, but not near enough and nothin I care to post in daily finds. Quite a bit of change and tons of fishin material when the lake was down, and continued my mission of ridding the planet of square nails. A million thanks to the deputy sheriff who told me he had no problem with me detectin the old site of Dickey on the south end of the lake. A plethora of square nails and railroad spikes and a few marbles. Had a banner year in archaeology, though, with that untouched site down in Oklahoma. I've documented quite a few new sites in the past, but this was the best for being undisturbed and intact. Anyway, happy new year to y'all. Face it bravely!
