The highlight of my day was a 5 Memorial coin spill and 1 being a 2009 Lincoln Commemorative Penny which I didn't even know existed. I like it! Lol IMG_0115.webpIMG_0117.webp

More than i found today. I spent 6 hours driving...you got to hunt.

Cool penny, I've never seen one before either. We've all had days like this :BangHead:, but look on the bright side, your next hunt is almost guaranteed to be more like this: :headbang:

I know what those days are like. I got a 46 wheat yesterday. I haven't found a silver since being back in Michigan.

Scuba I went on a 1yr silver dry spell and then found and Liberty then a Barber in a 2 week span. This hobby will humble you and then reward you just when your ready to break. And it feels great. My total silver coins have already doubled from last year. Mercs, war Nickels, Washington's and my first Standing Liberty. Now that one felt good. Just keep on swinging buddy you know how it is.

sometimes it just is what it is, the highs and lows of detecting. I managed $1.73 today and that easily buys a small chocolate frosty at wendy's so that makes all that trash a little easier to swallow. Besides, days like this make those better days even better and it should get better for you.

So true and the funny thing is I actually really like the penny :]laughting

I went out for three hours yesterday to a country store that has been around since the early 1800's. I left with $.52 and entire pouch of junk. Mostly tin can lids. The grassy area around was all fill from some point. About 2" of soil then gravel and garbage. Was a huge disappointment. Wasn't the first and won't be the last.

It beats 150 dollars an hour for a therapist visit.
