Today I found a silver war nickel on the floor near the coinstar machine. I was tickled!

I cleaned it with baking soda to get rid of the ugly green tint.

My summer has been so slow I'm tempted to vote your eyeball find banner! Congratulations on a cool find.

..: NICE FIND Mark :..
Here is my CoinStar Surfing Log!

I keep reading about these CoinStar finds, so I started looking when at the supermarket, and found my FIRST find! a toasted Lincoln memorial penny. Beginners luck I guess. OK, yours is better than mine.

Bumped for picture, by request.

Lol! :laughing7: For God's sake sprailroad don't get me started doing that too... I already went to EVERY GW store in a 60 mile radius looking for all of the great jewelry and watch deals that everyone keeps finding and NONE of them even sell junk, costume jewelry much less any other kind or watches! :BangHead:

Way to keep an eye out.

Nice little silver score. Its always worth checking those machines. I finally got my wife to start doing it, and now she brings home more silver from the coinstar than I do. Of course she goes shopping more often also !
