We been together many years
We been through alot of binds
So much rain showers and storms
You never left me behind

But today you got injured and hurt
Having to finally come to a stop
The fine stallion you were
Till something dropped

We didn't get to 100,000
like we planned
But we seen many things
Mountain tops to white sands

It was a strange moment
for us today
As something came apart
and gave way

I guess together for 25 years
isn't very bad
Still losing you today
Has me heartbroken and sad

Never been where I couldn't
saddle up and ride
Kinda lost now for a while
Even after I cried

Tomorrow starts
just one day
at a time
Till again we play

Taking off your
armor and tank
Disassembling slowly
and gently to the crank

Installing new parts
to make you roar
The road again
our dance floor

I long already
to hear your heart
beat and rumble
as you start

I long already
for us to cruise
to wake you
from your snooze

I thank you for
the many years
and long for your music
to sound again in my ears

yeah probably next spring before she roars again,

Gonna fix truck first,

After that get her a new dress of paint

As I am doing that I will slowly rework her motor
Then I will start the putting it back together

Called today to see what it would cost for a brand new motor

$7700 plus freight

Not sure what gave way inside but she didn't like it

Praise God I didn't ride it to Caldwell it wouldn't of made it
