Garrett- Master Hunter CX,Infinium, 1350, 2500, ACE 150-water converted 250, GTA 500,1500 Scorpion, AT Pro
I have twice been asked to search for lost jewelry on the hospital premises where I work as a Registered Nurse, and once to search for an old manhole cover (where did the name manhole cover come from?) under the asphalt in the parking lot. I did find the ring, and wasn't lucky with the manhole cover. Go figure eh

Hey I'd take that over regular work any day.

I take my detector in my truck every where I go out. If I see a stop that's interesting. I go hunting. Sometimes I forget what I went out for if I find something nice. Ha Ha Just don't leave your detector in your truck when it's hot out. I find spots that I've missed on my air view map.

I dug a hub cap at 2 feet ones. I thought it was a man hole when I finally got down to it. lol

They have specifically TOLD me to stay off of TNet, and quit talking about MDing...

As you can see, I pay them little attention!

Yes, I've used it at work enough times that they now expect me to have my detector with me.

The company doesn't mind paying the extra baggage fee either.

We use benchmarks in my survey work for aerial LiDAR mapping.

The benchmarks are often buried in sand or overgrown.

My oldest one to date was originally placed in 1910 and hasn't been used by another survey company since 1985, until I just found it again and reactivated it.

There was a time... when I could not go to work without a detector... for detecting WAS my "job". heh
